Peng Chau Island

Welcome to Peng Chau Island, Hong Kong

Hong Kong has a significant amount of outlying islands; around 236 to be exact. Out of all those islands, however, only a small number are inhabited.

Peng Chau Island has an approximate population of 5000, a small amount compared to its neighboring islands such as Lamma Island or Cheung Chau Island.

Even though Peng Chau Island itself is quite small, with a surface area of approximately 0.98 sq km, it served as an important fishing port and a small industrial centre throughout history. Small industries such as furniture, light bulbs, lime, handcrafts, all flourished under the economy of Peng Chau Island.

This website provides it's viewers a considerable amount of information on things to do on Peng Chau Island, some hot-spots around the island, and places where you can grab a snack or a drink.
